Chad Jewell

Chad is the founding principal at Austin Office Space and started the company in 1999. His real estate career began several years earlier when he worked with two local firms, specializing in office tenant representation. Chad now enjoys over a decade of experience representing companies leasing office space-- and he has loved every minute of it.

Chad has been fascinated by the game of negotiation. After several years of collecting books and self study on the topic, he has created his own methodology which he calls "Zero Resistance Negotiating". Periodically, Chad conducts 3-hour negotiation workshops for local business owners. He plans to complete a short book for tenants on how ZRN and the A.C.T.I.V.E. negotiation model is applied to office leasing.

Chad received his bachelors degree in Finance with a real estate emphasis from the University of Northern Iowa. Since moving to Austin from his home town of Des Moines, Iowa, he as been very involved in the Austin community. Chad has been an active member of Habitat Young Professionals, Bootstrap Austin, Young Execs, Toastmasters, Landmark Education and Commercial Leasing Brokers Association. David Bremer

David is a principal with the firm who joined Austin Office Space in 2000. Since that time he has successfully closed over 200 transactions, resulting in yearly recognition as a "Commercial Real Estate Heavy Hitter" by the Austin Business Journal. Throughout his career, David has been focused on representing tenants and buyers with locating and negotiating for office and industrial space. This narrow focus has allowed him to become a true expert in this field.

David is recognized by both past clients and landlords as one of the most service focused brokers in the industry. He consistently strives to go “above and beyond” the normal duties of a broker which has resulted in a long list of repeat clients. David is an active member of Austin’s Commercial Leasing Brokers Association and represents local charities on a pro-bono basis.

David graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas with a degree in finance. He is happily married to his wife, Kelly, who are proud parents to one year old daughter, Isabella, and two most spoiled dogs on the planet. In his free time David enjoys traveling, visiting wineries, exercising, and any activity which allow him to be overly competitive with his business partners. Matt Watson

Matt Watson joined the firm in 2001. He leveraged his previous experience working with a large national real estate company to come work for Austin Office Space. Matt exclusively represents tenants in the search for office or industrial space and has represented more than 150 different companies in the Austin area. Matt enjoys working with a variety of different clients but primarily focuses on medium sized technology and software companies in Northwest and Downtown Austin.

Matt graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a business degree in Finance. He is an active member of Austin’s Commercial Leasing Brokers Association and the Greater Austin Area Chapter of the University of Oklahoma Alumni Association. Outside of work Matt enjoys spending time his wife, Dawn, and 1 year old daughter, Taylor, traveling, listening to live music and watching college sports with friends.

Zachary Ellis

Zach joined Austin Office Space, Inc. in early 2008. He exclusively represents tenants and specializes in assisting businesses locate and negotiate office and industrial leases. Coming from the commercial mortgage banking industry, Zach has a unique perspective on commercial real estate. He has a background in management and marketing and with a framework in customer service; he is recognized for his high level of client satisfaction and interpersonal relationships.

Zach is an active member in Austin’s Commercial Leasing Broker’s Association. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and has lived here for many years since. His knowledge of Austin is in-depth and complete. When he isn’t dining out or seeing live music with friends and family, Zach leads an active lifestyle. Christopher Schwab

Christopher joined Austin Office Space in 2009. Prior to moving to Austin, he worked in New York with an international asset management firm and as a residential realtor in Louisiana. These past careers provide Christopher with a unique skill set that let him transition seamlessly into commercial brokerage. Christopher is currently focused on assisting small and medium sized companies in the greater Austin area to secure new office and industrial space. Christopher brings a sound financial mindset to his work and prides himself on providing a high level of service to all of his clients.

Christopher graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He leads an active lifestyle and attempts to partake in everything Austin has to offer; living downtown, running Lady Bird Lake with his yellow lab, listening to live music, and exploring the hill country with his girlfriend, Liz.
