Chad is a Principal and was the founder Austin Office Space in 1999. His real estate career began several years earlier when he worked with two local firms, specializing in office tenant representation. Chad now enjoys almost a decade of experience representing companies leasing office space-- and he has loved every minute of it.
Chad is fascinated by the game of negotiation. After several years of collecting books and self study on the topic he has created his own theory which he calls "Zero Resistance Negotiating". Chad has presented his material to several local groups and conducted a 3-hour negotiation workshop for a national organization. He plans to complete a short book for tenants on how "ZRN" and the A.C.T.I.V.E. negotiation model is applied to office leasing.
Chad received his bachelors degree in Finance with a real estate emphasis from the University of Northern Iowa. Since moving to Austin from his home town of Des Moines, Iowa, he as been very invloved in the Austin community. Chad is currently an active member of Habitat Young Professionals, Bootstrap Austin, Young Execs, Commercial Leasing Brokers Association, Austin's Young Real Estate Professionals and Gateway Community Church. In his free time he can be found playing sand volleyball, training for sprint triathlons and spending time with friends and family.

A Principal at Austin Office Space, David joined the firm in 2000. Since that time he has successfully closed over 200 transactions,
resulting in yearly recognition as a "Commercial Real Estate Heavy Hitter" by the Austin Business Journal. Throughout his career, David has been focused on representing tenants and buyers with locating and negotiating for office and industrial space. This narrow focus has allowed him to become a true expert in this field.
David is recognized by both past clients and landlords as one of the most service focused brokers in the industry. He consistently strives to go “above and beyond” the normal duties of a broker which has resulted in a long list of repeat clients. David is an active member of Austin’s Commercial Leasing Brokers Association and represents multiple local charities such as Hospice Austin on a pro-bono basis.
David graduated from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas with a degree in finance. He is happily married to his wife Kelly and the proud “Daddy” of the two most spoiled dogs on the planet. In his free time David enjoys traveling, visiting wineries, exercise, and any activity which allow him to be overly competitive with his business partners. If we gave out trophies for all of the silly inner office games we play, David’s office would be filled with them.
